Most shop-bought origami paper is coloured on one side
and white on the other. Dual-coloured paper, however, has different colours on
each side. We can buy this paper or we can make it ourselves. When we make the
paper we can choose the colours we want and we can combine patterns and
textures as we wish.
Tip: If you are having trouble getting the pieces of
paper to join exactly, without overlapping, you can try using a larger piece of
paper as the base and a smaller one on top. Once they have dried cut around the
smaller piece.
